I can't find it but Cornel West (famous black academic) had a great quote about Obama when he won in 2008. He said basically that on that day he would celebrate, we had our first black president, that was a great day for black people, etc. But on the next day he would become Obama's biggest critic.
And for eight years he attacked him constantly.
Not because he was mad that he won the election. He was happy he won the election. But because that's how it's done. If you go into blind worshipping mode simply because your candidate won, you are a sheep.
But, he is our president now, and everyone should respect that. I didn't like when Obama became president, but that doesn't mean I attacked him all the time, constantly; rejecting him as my president.
But oh well, soon enough, WWIII will come and all our problems will end in nuclear war and a nuclear winter ;)
