ok, so I'm designing my SVG like the wiki tells me. It says to set each object I want as a territory to the id of Territory_(something). I do this, then upload the SVG and I get the message:
"SVG groups cannot be assigned Territory_ identifiers. This SVG file has at least one group (a 'g' node) that has an ID starting with Territory_. In Inkscape, you can fix this by right-clicking the offending territory and selecting 'Ungroup'. An easy way to find this is via Inkscape's XML Editor. Please post on the forums if you need more help."
If I'm reading this right, it's telling me not to set the territories to the "Territory_" id that the wiki described. I don't know how to set territories any other way, could someone please explain this to me?

I figured out my earlier problem, now I'm having the problem on dividing my continents into territories. I have some continents drawn up, but I wanna divide them into smaller territories. is there any way to do this without having to draw out the whole shape of each territory and fit it into the preexisiting continent? because I just wanna draw lines in the territories I already have, but I don't think that will work.

You can divide paths into smaller paths by drawing a single line where you want the border to be, selecting both and pressing Ctrl+/.
