I'm surprised that people even still support Trump. He's gone back on 80%+ of his promises so I find it hard to imagine that people are supporting him. If I had a disease for every time people's only defence of Trump is "Hillary's worse" I'd be dead. It shows how bad the democratic system of America is a) People get in based on their family b) People get in without winning the popular vote c) People continue to support family-based leaders. Ivanka2024? Isn't that as fucked up as Bush2000 or Hillary2016?

Ox, most of us didn't actually care who won this election because we hate both Trump and Clinton.

Democracy shouldn't exist large-scale (as that puts too much faith in humans to not be idiots who base their opinions on little), so I don't mind the Electoral College. It minimizes riots.

In your rundown on why our system sucks, you forgot the fact that there are two effective parties (that need to be split up) and that party loyalty takes precedent over one's own opinion.
