Yes.

Well, then I cannot help you further :/. I myself use windows 7, so I've never used this scaling system.

I guess you could try to set the "scale x" to the value of "1" first, but I doubt it would change anything

Since we are trying to trace the problem down, we can experiment, try to find out more about it.

Try to set the "X" and "Y" boxes some values, like 2000. Also, a screenshot of your entire inkscape document with all of the document properties tab open could help

It didn't get bigger. For some reason the file largness was converted into 8 by 12 inches.

I strongly think it is a problem with your scale/viewbox.

maybe that has to do with the fact you are using the "US letter" page size (8 by 11 inches)

Thanks for all the help! I managed to fix the size problem by setting the height and width to 2000 and then resizing it.
