Are math skills applicable in real-life? For example calculus.

Bonus question: What do warlight forum users and vaccines have in common?

Calculus has applications in astrophysics and engineering, with one thing that everyone could somewhat visualize being roller coaster design. Derivatives are a major part of that to ensure that slopes and stuff are safe. If you're thinking about everyday applications for the average Joe, then the basic 4 operations are needed at the bare minimum. Algebra could come in handy at times, mainly for proportions.

As for your bonus question, the answer is that they both stab you with a needle.

They do apply in real life. Try baking something and changing the quantities of the ingredients to make more or less portions than before. This is the use of ratios.

You could also be making a design for a new house/extension. You'll use basic math skills, area, perimeter, scale drawings, etc.

What do warlight forum users and vaccines have in common?

Nothing.

AUTISM

People... I lose faith in you. It's like, 2+2=4.

Do we even live in the same world? : /

Integral calculus can be quite handy when trying to find the area or volume of an irregular figure. Other than that one can use integral or differential in order to mathematically model a problem.
