I would like to make maps i have loads of ideas in my head i even downloaded inkscape but don't get or u make territories or how u make them connect or how u make bonus i need a easy guide to help me.

I would try and help... if I understood anything you typed that is.

Okay, I've had problems with that myself because there aren't any absolute basics tutorials here.

To draw a territory: select either the bezier or the free hand tool from the left of your screen (I always work with the bezier tool, it goes a lot quicker) and draw any shape you want. if you're making a map from an image, just draw on top of it, and delete it when you're done. When you've made the path go round, right click it, click object properties, and set the ID to Territory_1, on the second territory make the ID Territory_2 and so on.

To make a bonus first you must make a bonus square, select the tool for rectangles and squares, draw a square, than, when it's still selected, click on the tool with a black cursor sign, then above you see a few numbers, including the height and width, set them both to 16 to make it square and the right size. And set the ID to BonusLink_Bonusname
And replace "Bonusname" with whatever you wish to name your bonus, but be sure to include no spaces.

All the centerpoints, connections and other stuff come later. Now I don't have time, I'll tell the next step in my second post.

thanks moros but i would like to no more like how to put the number of armies u get in a bonus.

That's all for when you're finished with what I've just said in my previous post. If I tell you now, you wouldn't be able to do anything with it without the basic map file.
