also possibly incorporate ireland and britain due to roman knowledge of the areas at the time there are some records (Britannia and Hiberina (ireland) were what the romans referred to them as)

So far, there a lot of distortion in the east, so before I continue to add more distorted territories, are there anymore mistakes you can catch in the map?

Very nice map, looks much more refined but a correction

-Aksum should be included because (even though at the time it was a minor state) would be extreemly prominent and important in a few hundreed years due to eliminating its enemies and becoming the premier tradeing state on the entire east african coast (i'm an american from east africa so i noticed this quite a while back)

-if you ever think about expanding a possibly helpful link including other regions (it is based on the impact of the nabateans, however and is thus limited)

scroll down and it provides a map of indian ocean civilizations around 250 BC: http://nabataea.net/vietnam.html

it is mostly trade routes, however

Guess I will finish it tomorrow. Sorry for the inconvenience. I added Aksum, fixed Lakshadweepa, and added Upper Scandinavia and Sapmi.Left on my to do list: Siberia, the very western part of Mongolia, and the Maldives.

Well, except for the blocky borders it looks pretty good!
Final request: add region bonuses, that incorporate three or four bonuses, like *Africa, Arabia, India, Western Europe* (in Latin of course)

Just so you know:
-I'm keeping the blockiness. It matches the original Europa Barbarorum Map.
-I am adding empire bonuses, maybe continental bonuses.
-And that's about it!

Bumped. Should the rest of Asia (China, Siam, Malaysia, Japan, Philippines) and perhaps more of Africa (up to Zanzibar and Ghana) be added? They all were important in antiquity, as the regions in between the east and west connected them. China will have at least 20 territories, Mongolia may have 4-5, Japan will have 8-9 territories, Indonesia 8-10, Mainland Southeast Asia 9-12, Korea 4-5, and the Philippines 8-10. What fo you guys (or girls) think?

this map isn't really gonna be about 300-200 BCE then; since ur jumping forwards through history in many regions

there is little info on malaysian civilizations during the time period, same for philippines, china is deffinately possible (korea has a lot more information) also there is no record for any of these nations since they still didn't have either 1) a written language 2) had progressed beyond iron age civilization or 3) had any legitimate political institutions unlike in north africa, north eastern africa, central asia, india, or mediterranean (specifically greece and italy)

i honestly think you should go forwards a bit to around 500 AD or, even better to 700-1000 AD since almost every part of the planet had some advanced society at that time with a language and clear records/maps

@ hellgunner We already started the test game. Sorry.

@ lakerman1495 You are right about the lack of info... But I can hypothesize about the names of areas and kingdoms in SE Asia- That's what I did for Siberia and India- OR I can set it up so that the map is divided into regions made by future kingdoms (just like what I did with Tibet and Xiyu- i.e. Indonesia/Malaysia's islands will be translated to Sanskrit as it was the first known name given to the islands. China, Korea, Japan, and northern Vietnam are advanced enough by now, so naming regions will not be a problem for them.
