We already have military presence on our streets of about a few thousand in our capital and a few thousand elsewhere. There's much havoc about this, but anyway they're just soldiers carrying guns doing nothing after all

Tabby, you can't fool me; facts will always remain facts. Israel also known as Jacob, peace be upon him did exist, and there's enough evidence for that. Since you deny Jacob's existence, that means that you deny that Jews exist. You're an anti-Semite, Tabby, even if you deny it, it's just a fact that you're racist. You're racist against black people, Semitic people, and many other folks.

To be fair, one fellow dying is not news...on the other hand, these past few days have been really boring, news-wise. However, Tropic Storm Cindy is pretty important and is planned to hit Texas in the next few days.
Also the Portuguese wood fires have killed over 60 since Saturday.

Umm? What? What news are you watching? The USA shot down a Syrian jet, Russia imposed a no-fly zone over Syria and almost rammed a US spy plane over Kaliningrad.

Syria being fucked is not news; yeah there could be a conflict between RF and USA/other countries, but I don't think it's likely, and even if there is, it will be a regional conflit like the Korean or Kargil war. In which case, I still don't think it's very important. Wars, deaths, happen every day. The wildfires in Portugal are the biggest news story I've seen, it's been the deadliest wildfire in Portugal since 1966.
I want to read something more historic and unique. a recent exemple is the Argentinian raid which found loads of hidden Nazi and archeologic artefacts, and 3000-year-old mummies. It's the biggest of this haul ever in Argentina.

This incident isn't a big deal, but the reason it isn't a big deal is because there were no civilian casualties, not because there are "bigger problems".
