That's not what I mean with solution, Justinian. I believe that people have a free will. I'm against racism, but if a person wants to be racist, then that's his/her choice. The solution is to explain to people why racism is wrong by debunking it.

Racism never will go away. It's not even possible. It can diminish over time, but it will never cease to exist as long as there are multiple races.

Freakonomics published an article on tipping and racism.

It was of interest to me to read that with regard to the tipping behavior of restaurant patrons that, "Customers of both races discriminated against black service providers by tipping them less than white service providers."

So incredibly enough it would seen that black customers would prefer to have a white waitress or waiter. It could be disputed whether this is the case. However it would seem to be a plain matter of fact that black customers value white servers more highly than black servers on average.
