1000 assassins vs 1000 crusaders. Who do you think would win?
Assassins - from what I've read in history books - were during their time considered to be highly dangerous and skilled, so I think that assassins would win against crusaders if it's 1000 vs 1000.

The Ismaili Hashashin were a baller group of assassins, but they did not fight in open combat. They used infiltration, isolation, and fear tactics. If they fought 1000 Crusaders outright, they'd be slaughtered. But they could probably take out 1000 Crusaders on their own terms. They killed Crusader King Conrad, so that's something.
