Diplo games ftw

The AIs should have a list things they say in the chat. Can you do that?

AIs can't talk but I have a notifications system for war declarations, allies, peace and trading, which should replace this aspect. And even if I could access the chat it would be pretty hard to create a good chatbot with Lua.

I like how people is trying to get back to this kind of gameplay.
I totaly support this action, being myself a diplo creator (historical based ones ) , though the lack of time is affecting me, (trying my best to bring new scenarios to this game )

That's great to read. The lack of time is indeed a problem but we can make enjoyable templates. That is what we must do, give every warlight player the best diplo game we can every single time.

Hello Everyone, I was thinking of starting a Diplo Discord just anything warlight diplo could be in it from multi-day to real-time . Us diplo players should have a better platform to communicate and coordinate our matches as they are long and take time

The FCC has a dedicated section to diplomacy, including on our discord, if you like I can invite y'all to join there, and give you permission to join or diplomacy channel.

We also house a large amount of dedicated mapmakers and strategic players as well.

Hey Semicedevine. I suppose you don't like Diplos, it is totally accepted but here we discuss on how to make Diplos better and not offending each other. Hey Troller, I've made an interresting diplo template: https://www.warlight.net/MultiPlayer?GameID=13609879

The game is an ffa, but the template can be used for great diplo games.

It has 13 teams of 3 players, so every empire has internal and external policy to deal with. It's based on the historic situation of 1032/1033, what is the best year for 13 teams. Only downside is that it's not balanced because of the historic accuracy, but the concept is nice I think.

I wouldn't consider so much of a Diplo. Since it's template is a Custom Scenario Team Game giving full countries and basically no rules I wouldn't say it suits to a diplo. If it were a Custom Scenario with one territory at the beginning rather than having the whole country and players making the teams rather than having them ready I would say it could be a good Diplo template. However it is a good template for Team Game and Alternate History.
