The main reason why reproduction should not be a right at all is that free reproduction harms societies. IQ is inversely correlated with fertility and hence uncontrolled reproduction inevitably leads to degeneration of a population.Who are we to seize control over people's organs? hehe
I agree that, since humans had created civilizations, they had totally isolated themselves from the kind of environment where genes were sculpted by one's natural surroundings.
Now, thousands of years down the line, we see the culmination of how far we have strayed from the metaphorical path. When humans are given the opportunity to do whatever they want. . . well. History has a lot to say about it. Once we had finally been let off the training wheels, we pedalled into the bonfire with exhilarated squeals.
Anyway, we have to put this kind of thing into perspective.
Yes:
*The rise in population of our race in recent years has put the planet in a perilous condition.
*This is the fault of our societies and cultures, which have evolved from indirect traits of evolutionary 'survival tactics' if you will.
*Natural Selection's influence on our race has been limited. We have endeavoured, since then, to keep up the good work of keeping the population down. ha. More like twisting the process to the ways of indulgence, greed, and egoism.
*The people of lower levels of consciousness (or 'dumb'. one shouldn't really categorise like this, but it makes things easier lol) are going to outnumber the higher fucks. People who grow up to poorly-educated parents, (there are a damn lot) are unlucky. Birth is a lottery, which most people lose.
*It is nobody's fault except the people who sit at the top, counting their money and looking down, spitting on the crowd below. We really should know better. We have the capacity.
*It always swings back to education. Education, education, education.
*Those who are less fortunate in the circumstance lottery will be brought up in ignorance that instils ignorance; more than just the token from the culture.
*Those who have higher IQs are more likely to put careful thought into the notion of having a child. This inevitably leads to a lower average birth rate. Whereas people who do not have access to the knowledge, or the tools to do so, will be having children without a thought for things like some of the farther impacts that such an action would cause, etc.
*One might think that the population problems are the fault of all those Asians who just won't stop having kids. This is not the case. For every 1 child born in the US, that is the equivalent of a Bangladeshi woman having ~600-1000 children. This is in terms of usage - energy and natural resources.

*'Free reproduction' is indeed harming societies, but the reproduction itself is not at fault. It is merely moving things along. Is is us who are out of whack. Our cultures, our societies. We have come from humble beginnings. We are learning, slowly. It may have been too slow. What if mine if the last generation to live out a lifetime, before the earth heats and we, warm-blooded creatures that we are, will be in dire straights. Was this truly the best we could do?
