Most people this video will remind them of school of when the teacher reads the textbook. Makes it a bit boring and meh.. For those interested in your videos and the content it does the job but I think with your genre of video making.. it's about making History cool to the majority. You have to make it as interesting as possible or insert a bit of enthuasim.. Something that will get the listener hooked.

A professor of mine required that if we gave a talk before class, that we not read from a script. There are people who can do this and sound as though they are speaking extemporaneously but most folks just can't.

Your accent reminds me of Alex Guinness playing Prince Faisal. This is a good thing.
