That seems to be true in broad terms, although promoting the ideas of Mao the father of the Cultural Revolution to children is an atrocious act of abuse.

Most of what you said is only tangentially related to the original post. Unless i have misunderstood, you don't hold the founding documents of the U.S. in high esteem. Am I wrong?
Point being, what do you think of those principles and rights that the Chinese governing class are so concerned about? I imagine that they are primarily concerned with the rights regarding governance being dependent upon the consent of the people, and with the right of free speech.
It is possible to take these rights for granted...
