It's a very exclusive trophy, it's not something you can really "go for". Think of it like a beautiful girl -- you can't just walk up to her and ask what you need to do for her to be attracted to you. All you can do is do your best and hope it works out.

that logic is broken. One mapmaker that has a golden trophey, doesn't meet all the basic warlight requirements for the map he has won his trophy for. Basic principles like clean bonus borders and a good connection between several territories are missing as well. Heck I bet if this map was published he'd get rejected. But no. Golden trophey here you go

Of course the map I was talking about was Austria-Hungary by Urfang. If that doesn't ring you a bell , then it shouldn't because of all the things the map is lacking in order to be called "a map beatiful than any other in Warlight's existence"

In addition you also have the great mapmakers that aren't awarded for their art, yet revolutionized and perfectionized the way they made their maps.
All I can say this achievement is just Fizzer's personal opinion, but it has to be like that way, right?
