I think that the most neutral way is to just let the kid at school decide whether he wants creationism, the theory of evolution or neither one of them to be taught to him/her. That way most people will feel welcome at school. So there will be no obligation - if the neutral approach is implemented - of studying creationism or evolution, it all depends on the choice of the kid.
