Uservoice: Enable withdrawal of smaller coin count: 2017-08-17 04:25:39

Currently, coins are two months away from losing their value compared to the Dollar to become some sort of premium currency: https://www.warlight.net/blog/index.php/2017/08/ending-coin-withdrawals/

This spawns a problem regarding people with values lower than 7500 coins. I've offered a suggestion through Uservoice, but given this is something for just two months from now, I decided to put it on the forums to raise it's notoriety so people can voice their thoughts.

As user "Tim" mentioned: amounts lower than 7500 coins cannot be withdrawn currently as per WarLight's coin withdrawal rules.

While this was fine for most of WL's life, right now this is quite bad. Someone who has accumulated a good value but lower than 7500 due to spending/partially withdrawing will have permanently lost a pretty steep amount of money due to the withdrawal limitation.

The suggestion: Lower the withdrawal amount to be something pretty small, such as 500 coins. Very rarely do people who did not actually invest in Coins get to that number (they'd have to quintuple their starting value, which is quite an impressive feat), so actual losses would be relatively minimized.

The alternative: Use this if allowing coin withdrawal would be too expensive or troublesome. Reward players who have coins when the coin system is changed. Give them a bonus, perhaps allow them to unlock a color for free, or small periods of memberships. This'd make coin investments who didn't quite make it to 75$ not be wasted.

You think uservoice actually matters? How quaint. Good luck with that.

This is not my particular case, but for someone at 500 coins, he'd need to toss in 70$; that's more than my monthly income. Not very easy to simply toss at the screen.

Well, every withdrawal is charged 200 coins by fizzer and withdrawal that reduce your account below 1000 coins is charged another 600 coins. That means(in case of lifting 7500 threshold) withdrawal of all 500 coins would force someone to pay 3$ to Fizzer :D
