I still have infinitely more respect for Alex Jones as an entrepreneur, than I do for the folks with journalism degrees who write for Salon, Buzzfeed, Huffpost, and what have you. Buried underneath a scheme to sell water filters is a man with some genuine opinions. I would count him as a basic conservative. He could have been a talking head on any corporate media platform but he chose to be an entertainer, which is a much better alternative. The apocalyptic conspiratorial twist is just so he can sell products.

His video reminds me of "Hey, Elliot Rogers here!"
