For those who are new to WGL, this was a weekly realtime tournament series hosted and livestreamed by experienced warlight players with in-depth analysis and commentary. Nowdays it's no longer weekly, it's whenever we bother. The broadcast (stream) is hosted on twitch.tv, chat participation is encouraged.

WGL #153 is happening this coming Saturday, the 2nd of September.

Could you also stream a Sunday 2v2 WGL? Its been quite a while since we've had one of those.

I'd like to play again template with some mods, but don't think it's likely;p

I'd like to avoid mods and currency games right now, just to be more easy for people to join. Last WGL with mods kind of worked but we need Fizzer around and it's still a bit confusing for folks. So i think i'd rather wait until the unity version comes out of beta and everyone is using it to host those kind of templates.

Anyone else has other template requests? Doesn't necessarily need to be new ones. We could redo an older template, it's been so long since last WGL that it doesn't really matter that we use new templates all the time.

About 2v2, i'm not considering two streams on same weekend right now, simply because 2v2 doesnt particularly interest me, and each stream is about 4 hours investement on peak productivity time. After a stream you don't have the mental fortitude to go do anything else productive like look at code, compose or write. So it's pretty much an entire afternoon invested. If you don't enjoy it it's not worth it. The occasional 1v1 tournament streams are still fun, so i'll keep doing those now again.

If i had support on patreon for WGL i would consider doing them more often and also occasionally a 2v2 instead of 1v1. But right now the only patreon supporter i have for warlight is from Fizzer, that pays like 1 beer a month, can't live out of 1 beer a month, so i have to "invest" my productive time in other stuff :) https://www.patreon.com/psenough

Dan maybe mention that it's not really elitist africa, but africa with comanders. Otherwise if ps picks the template he might not get what he expects.

Reza: this one is already scheduled for Saturday so it wouldn't be nice to change it last minute, but sure in the future i can occasionaly do WGL's on Sunday instead of Saturday. It's mostly been Saturday because of the old lolowut tradition of having the 1v1 on saturday and 2v2 on sunday.

So i second buns and old-fashioned start ME :p
