It was not exactly the same template, but the distribution mode stays. It was rated 3/10 by the commentators back then. Good luck everyone. Hope i don't get downvoted again :'(
Here are some games I played on it. I have no clue how to play this properly so don't take my gameplay as a reference on how to play this. Opponents seemingly had even less of a clue how to play this so it made weird games.
I appreciate your breakdowns Plat and wakanarai. It does play much different than other templates. Just because someone doesn't understand it right away, doesn't mean it is bad...or good for that matter.
The first 3-4 games I played on Elitist Africa I hated it. I still don't really like it (only because I have not found my groove on it), yet I am glad it is used so much because it is a totally different way of playing.
MOD, that review you have is not even close to the same settings. That was the first iteration of many. The comments on it are talking about the capital cities (2 income), which don't exist. And the armies per territory is double (was 1 per 10, is 1 per 5). Also, if you listen to that, I guarantee at least 2 people reviewing it had never played it. Two people said it is a good idea, but the capitals mean you only have 1 strategy, which is to pick right around those 2s.
i wonder how many of the haters actually tried the template before commentating about it.
thank goodness fizzer asked people to refrain from negative trash talking, otherwise this would be filled with people offering their negative comments :p
