Doom 4 needs to be thrown away as it's just a boring gorefest. Doom 2 holds up today since it somehow has better system than games of today. we need more guns, more foes. variety and diversity are the best ways to better games that are already good.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ss8SyOhqk1IQuake 4 was also a good game, with the best sound effects of any game I've heard, it had a great atmosphere, but it's pretty identifiable as an old game today, and it was too gory.

Deus Ex (the oldest and the newest games I've played and they both are bad) sucks, but it does have pretty good potential. For the old game, good AI would mostly fix the game; for the new game, the gameplay is just unpolished crap (no toggle aim? wth? this is the
default setting in most other games)
