It's the real deal; the man known by many names: Fissel the Adduti, Faysal, 1416, anonym, name is anonym, Jacob, Joseph, Israel, Hamza, the Dexterous Strategist.

^^interesting quote. this incident happened in berlin. an 62 years old woman posted several texts that included *incitement to hatred*, which is in Germany a criminal offense. she was therefor sentenced to pay a fine of 1350€. -> would you mind to show the connection with political correctness in that particular case?

You now have multiple examples of people being arrested for arguing certain positions, now it's time to face reality.

"Hate speech" is considered a crime in the EU. That is PRECISELY the problem, regardless of the legal situation.

She posted a picture with the caption: "Do you have anything against immigrants? Yes, Maschineguns and handgrenades."
This has nothing to do with "politcal correctness", but is a threat against a group of people - Hence its a crime.
And it should be a crime, because threats can turn into actual physical harm.

For fucks sake Cata , regardless of how people personally feel about the tastefulness of the joke it is clearly a god damn joke.

As for if she believes the sentiment behind the joke who knows , but people make plenty of jokes about things they don't agree with in practicality.

A threat against a group is of less importance than a threat against an individual , if one is personal targeting one person with credible threats them possible it might be acceptable to act against it. Even then words != Future actions.

Idk it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth such measures , it's a dangerous line to thing about crossing.

According to Cata's logic, we must imprison everyone who likes dark humour.

Words are not only no indication of future action; the ability to argue about serious matters rather than just censoring people might actually prevent violent attacks.

Speech should never be censored. The only limits on free speech should be those in which the speech was actually part of a crime. Threatening someone is a crime. If I say "I'm going to kill you" the crime isn't that I made a certain argument, but that I threatened someone. Pointing a gun at someone is a threat that doesn't involve words. It's the same crime.

Where is the joke though? In this one example the punchline is "Kill the immigrants". A threat wrapped around a joke. Sure it can be a joke, but it can be both. This is very hard to determine in written form. It is open to debate if someone said it, though.
Make it clear that its a joke and not a thread. Eg. "I said toast and juice, not toast the jews!", in this case its clear that its only a harmless pun combined with a historical reference. Even as Austrian I can laugh about that.
Make sure its not seen as threat.

Cata's favorite GIF of all time! Calling it a "joke" is a stretch. It's more just loving that U.S.-America is proven weak and getting what they earn, according to Cata.

You're right. it is just a stupid joke. However there has been more than that, but the quoted article didnt show every hate post. this particular joke was only used as an example in said article to invalidate her statement: *I didnt meant to spread hate and racism, and didnt actually know what I was sending.*

Speech should never be censored. The only limits on free speech should be those in which the speech was actually part of a crime.

what about: perjury, slander, defamation and aspersion? spreading hate against specific parts of society to incite criminal offenses is a crime in germany as well. so what is your point?

and still; How is political correctness possibly a disguise for censorship and crimes? what exactly do you think is political correctness?

Ad hominem.
Either way, this is dark humour that threats no one.
