The last game I played, I ended up with a overall luck score of -5%. It was a single player game and the last 10 or so turns I was the only one attacking, since the computer was stuck. Now when I went to look at why I had such a low luck. I first looked at the offensive luck was well above 20%. Then I looked at my defensive luck, and saw that it was -5% for the last 6 or so turns. How could that be, I wasnt attacked for those turns. I was just wondering what was up with the numbers.

Hi TR,

The graphs show "cumulative" luck. In this case, that means if the line is flat, then it didn't change from the previous turn. Also, the numbers are measured in armies, not percentages. So even if it says -5 for several turns in a row, if it isn't moving up or down, then it's just carrying that -5 along.

You may have already read this, but if someone else wants to read more about what the Luck value means, the best place is the help page for the graphs window. This explains it pretty well:

Does this help?

Yea that makes sense, but I think its kind of silly that my luck carries over the the previous turn. Unless it was at 0. That just seams to make more sense to me.

I think you might be misunderstanding. It's showing you what your luck has been up to that point, not how it was on that turn. The graph isn't determining anything it's based on how your luck has been in the game up to that point. So if it stays at -3 for 5 turns that means for those five turns your luck was neutral, neither positive nor negative because your cumulative luck didn't change. It's telling you up to that point in the game how far off of even you've done. If you want to know how your luck was during any particular part of the game you look at the up or down change of the graph during that period not its current position. Hope that clears it up a little.
