After uploading an .svg for map design, I'm unable to scroll left and right after scrolling in. The map is kind of big, i guess, and has a lot of detail on the far right side, but scrolling in, even a little, cuts off the edges of where i'm able to scroll on the screen. Did i do something wrong with the image file?

It’s probably due to a scaling issue. You might have stuff that’s sticking outside the document area.
There’s a bug in Inkscape that happens to some people, in Inkscape press ctrl and X. Click the G node, then click the word Viewbox. Then click the delete button above it. That might fix it. Make a second copy of the file first just Incase.

Yeah, problem solved, I think.. on testing the game, it seems kinda small when zoomed all the way out.. but it's as big as i could make the image and still have it all accessible when zoomed in. Now to spend all night naming territories and learning how to do bonuses...

Ahhh i see.. well now that i've already set a few hundred center points and about a thousand connections i'll probably wait til my next map or next version of this one to try the viewbox fix. Thank you both for the info, will definitely straighten that out next time.

If you can't scroll left/right in the designer, it means players won't be able to scroll left/right in the game either. That means your map won't be usable, and it won't be allowed to go public. So you do need to fix it regardless.
The good news is that you don't need to re-do any connections. But you may have to re-do center points.

You didn’t fix it then, you just shifted it around
