Group A though E have been startet and amazingly they are all full this season - no unannounced drop outs this season, is very impressive. Must be a first for the league!
In group F we have 14 players joined, of which 13 i new to the league, so this season we have had impressive growth in the number of players in the league. Any more new players will have to be put on the waitlist for next season, but we have two more who is yet to join group F, but with a lot of players in the group I want to get it going soon, so expect it to start later today or early tomorrow :)

In regards to promotions and relegations, the perfect joinrate in the higher groups suggest a season with a very low drop out - this in turn means it will be harder to promote (and possible no super promotions) and easier to relegate, so bring your A game! ;).

I'm gonna try to start playing again. Could I get in for next season?

only in Group F a player is still able to go undefeated but for this to happen he needs to win all 12 of his remaining games in this group which will be a pretty hard thing to do.

On the other side of the list there is a player in group D who lost all of his games and goes out the group with an 0-9 record and in group B there also is still an option to go out without a win and this is possible since he is 0-8 right now and i feel like he will lose that game since he has been last seen online 20 days ago.

now going group by group:

Group A:
In this group there still is a battle going on for 1st place which is between the current top 3 i would say but the number 4 right now still has a change as well. The current 1st place in the group is Hunta (6-1) who has only games ongoing against number 4 Smileyleg (2-2) and BlackKnight (1-6). If he wins his game against BlackKnight and smileyleg loses any of the other 4 games he has then Hunta is guaranteed to win this group with tie-breakers over Baer (6-2) and Bjarke (4-2).
Those last 2 need to win all their games and then some luck in the other games to even have a change at winning while Hunta and smileyleg have it in their own hands by just winning all their remaining games.


Group B:
Bonsai and TWOLKER currently are on top of this group with 5-2 records closely followed by graemes being on 4-2. Out of those 3 TWOLKER has the best papers to win this group since he holds tie-breakers over both of those players.
Behind those 3 players you still have 2 more on just 2 losses but they only have 1 or 2 wins as well. Technically everybody except the player in 10th place could still win this group i think if everything goes their way.


Group C:
Pantelas has almost clinched this group with a 7-1 record so far. Only thing he has to do to win it is winning his game against Tof (3-3). The only other person who can win this group without any help of 3-way ties is Jammyb'stard (4-2) since he is the only person who defeated Pantelas so far but for this to happen he needs to win all 3 of his remaining games against Tof, MoneyMakingMitch (2-6) and Fc Bayern (2-2).
Last mentioned has no change of winning since he lost against Pantelas and is playing against Jammyb'stard and Matt431 (6-2) making it that he can't have another player going 2 losses to get a 3-way tie.
If Matt431 win his game against Fc Bayern he is secured 2nd place but he can get 3-way tie for 1st if jammy wins all his remaining games and Pantelas loses his game.


Group D:
Lew already managed to clinch this group by getting his 8-1 record. Only person who can get that as well is jacob who Lew holds the tie-breaker over. jacob is also guaranteed 2nd place since he can't get overtaking any more by The Royal Canadian Empire (6-2) since he is holding the tie-breaker over him.
Royal Canadian is also almost guaranteed to finish in 3rd. For this to happen tomjh (1-3) has to lose 1 of his remaining 5 games although his 3 losses are against Lew, jacob and ARand0mPlayer (5-3) and his win being against the person in last who went 0-9 so you can't really say where tomjh will be ending up in the pack.


Group E:
This group has the most progression out of all of the groups with only 2 games remaining but those games still have complications.
First game that is still ongoing is between Etienne (5-3) and Soul Survivor (3-5). If Etienne wins this game he will finish in 2nd place having the tie-breakers over bigbear and Sandgroper, both 6-3 records, while losing his game will make him soul 4th place. Soul Survivor is currently in 7th place and a win means he would finish in tied 5th or 6th depending on the outcome from the other game as well, but a loss would mean he drops down to tied 7th or 8th depending on the result from the other game.

Going onto the other game between Bayern München (3-5) and Oilspotter (2-6). If Bayern wins this game he wil finish in 5th having the tie-breakers over both celticfringe and BelSon (4-5). If in the other game Soul wins as well he will finish in tied 5th. Losing his game means he drops to tied 7th if Soul loses as well or 9th if Soul wins.
For Oilspotter it's a bit easier. If Soul wins and Oil win then Oil is 8th. If soul loses and Oil wins, Oil win finish tied for 7th. If Oil loses he will finish in 9th.


Group F:
This is the group with newly joined players and has 5 more players then all of the other groups so players have 14 games in total instead of the 9 from the groups before.

There are only 5 players left who can win this group. Those 4 are Hawk's Eye (2-0), Suschel (11-2), Star of the East (10-2), wakanarai (9-2) and Huizinga (9-3).
If the players with 2 losses win all of their remaining games this group will finish in a 3-way tie and if Hawk's Eye manages to only lose 1 out his 12 remaining games then will finish in 1st but this is something i don't really see happening with the competition in this group.
Huizinga can only win finish in tied 1st by Suschel losing his remaining game, Star of the East losing both of his games and wakanarai losing 2 of his last 3 games and then Hawk's Eye losing 3 games in total out of the 12 he has remaining and Huizinga needs to win all 3 of his games so almost impossible to actually achieve. All 3 losses of Huizinga are against the 3 mentioned here except Hawk's Eye who he is playing against right now.

Remaining games for the top players in this group:
Suschel only plays against Hawk's Eye right now.
Star of the East is playing against TianO (3-4) right now and still has to play Hawk's Eye.
wakanarai is playing against TianO and Bane (8-4) right now and still has to play Hawk's Eye.
Hawk's Eye still has to play against, or is playing against, everyone except for Bane and Lord Yerouel (1-13).

Locked up the promotion back to Group A

Let's hope next season goes better than my last 0-7 foray with the big boys. It's a totally different league at the top. I've earned the promotion in 2 of 3 tries in Group B so at least I'm confident everyone else would be crushed just as badly heh heh

Only 1 game left in A and C :)

Our group went quick after hawk's eye was out of vacations or so, he just got booted in all his remaining games while he possibly could have still won the group as well.

Suschel congratz on winning in group F, it wasn't the easiest group to participate in with multiple skilled players, even 1 that has the 1v1 ladder trophy


I'm interested to know if Bjarke will stay with the current template or switches to the new template which is used in QuickMatch. The only difference is that one army must stand guard is off so you are able to get more possible strats like 2 turn EU with single pick.

Strong preference for the current settings as well.

There many differences with the 'new' settings. The big one in my opinion is the ability to pull the last unit from Colombia/Peru/Argentina to build a bigger stack on Brazil (for example). This makes an already static format even less fluid in my opinion.

Finally all games are finished. Congrats Hunta for winning group A!

I not really like small earth but I would like to give it a try, perhaps if I know it better... you know.
So if there is still a space free I would like to participate :)

This league is lost, I guess.

I have had very little time on warlight the last couple months - even got booted from a couple 1v1 ladder costing some placement there. I would like this league to go on, so if anyone wants to take over, or even just help by creating the next season, it would be welcome.

I know I need to make next season, but I just have not had the time to go though groups, figure out promotions and relegations and make the new tournaments :(. I am very sorry guys. If noone steps up to take over, I still plan to make next season, but it kinda takes me having a weekend at home to get around to it.
