But the issue is not about homosexuality but about homophobia.

Zap, it's more of a dictionary definition. I may have said it kinda wrong, and don't let my personal ignorance lead to a blossoming of yours, but I'll try. People can be sexually excited by, attracted to, and have a sexual orientation to, virtually anything. I used those terms interchangeably, and that was wrong. Specifically, what part of what I said do you want me to confirm?
