guys, guys, guys. Just stfu about "this person's maps suck" and crap. This isn't the place for that. If you wanna talk about how much you hate someone's maps, go ahead, but do it somewhere else. This thread was made for a reason, for adult discussion. If you're not going to participate in that the GTFO.

p.s. We should have a "children" category in the forums along side the others. Threads about hating on peoples' creations and "blacklist this person" and "this guy cheats" and "I shouldn't have been banned" could all go there and we could all ignore them.

Your on loikem 100 zoom, on normal zooms its fine, on any map if you zoom in that mutch there will be gaps

There is nothing wrong with my places, the rating system is based of the amount of positive and negitive comments i get. There are no gaps in moderen maps. You will find gaps on all maps by everone if you zoom in so much.

I am getting ri9d of my rating system but Fizzer better get a favorite section or somthing. But i still stand by my gaps statment, in my moderen maps there are no gaps. On every map you get gaps if you zoom in alot. Ok? Good know stop moaning and use this forum for what its for. I would like to see some of you make a desent map.

But the thing is, you can find gaps on your maps even from the starting view! Take a look at Africa from your "realistic" earth. Gaps EVERYWHERE! Overlapping territories, bonuses that don't make any sense, it's all there! If I drew like you I could make one each month too! And why is it called "realistic"? How is this in any way more realistic than any other map? You just added a few countries and islands and uglified the rest! How is it in any way realistic to conquer Russia in the same amount of time as it takes to conquer Estonia?
And your argument that you need to zoom in to see gaps doesn't make any sense! It may be true for some bonus borders, but on the same bonus, every sophisticated map on Warlight doesn't have any gaps visible even when you zoom in to the max! Take a look at the large Earth map. Do you see any gaps between two territories of the same bonus? I don't!

And I agree this forum should be used for something different than arguing, so I've just invited you to a test game so we can discuss there. So you can see a "desent" map.

I, for one, enjoy playing on an impressionist version of Africa than a realist version.

Anyway, as you can see mapmakers are very touchy about their maps.
Maybe we should back shelf any ideas about rating and first clean up the mess.

I'm sticking with my first idea, any ideas?

You know what i 100% acree with Sir Nick, We map creators dont like people insulting our maps. I think more catogores will be the safest way forwards. And this time i not changing my mind

I think that map creators that make poor maps need to *know* they are poor maps.. rather then deluding themselves.. and thus a rating system is imperative

without a rating system, all they get is the feedback of a select few that actually want to give reviews over feedback, and they get misjudged ratings systems..

back on subject, I still think that tags are the best idea, similar to any *booru

perrin but who is to judge what a good map is, a map to someone could me good beacouse of gameplay but other factors may effect it like what the map is, a british person is more likly to rate a map of britain more. Age may effect ratings and jealosy. So a rating system wouldnt work.

You deny that your maps have holes, even though it's been proven to you many times. You have a sketchy and bias "rating system" you use for your maps. In your descriptions you act like you're the god of maps on warlight.

nintorii use this forumm for the the use it was made for, if you read the prevous thread you would nowthat i no longer use my rating system and the gaps are so small that most of the time you cant see them, things are being done to make them smaller in places. Now stop going on about your opionun and lets get to the facts

P.S you got those screen shots from my solar system map, that is ment to have spaces inbetween, infact most of maps are supposed to.

I just looked up in inskape and all my borders have no gaps, yet when on warlight they do strange...
