Trump might be the last US president who could defeat North Korea militarily without huge nuclear bomb induced losses. What he's doing is something his predecessors should have done in the last quarter of a century following the death of communism.
Hopefully USA would lose and Europe would leave USA to their own mess. Best of all would be North Korea gaining long-range nukes asap so USA is forced to show just a bit of responsibility and can hopefully learn not to treat the whole planet as their drone and missile testing ground.
I feel terribly sorry for the millions of innocent North and South Koreans who must live in constant fear of such a terrible war because of USA's own domestic problem with a deranged president funded by the weapon industry to start as many conflicts as possible so that they can profit from selling to everyone.
I think it's beyond crazy to see people encourage an attack on North Korea - China is their ally, have you fools even thought of the consequences of a potential war with China? I sure hope such brave keyboard warriors get sent to the first line.
And before any of you start on this bs about what's going on in North Korea, go look up your weapons deal with Saudi Arabia and educate yourself on what it's really about.
DPRK isn't my socialist dreamland. But it's better than the anarchy US would create, better than what USA accomplished in Iraq, better than maybe 20 million people dying in South Korea, and better than a possible war between China and USA.
DPRK has absolutely no motivation to attack USA or any other country, despite what it says. That's basic logic - they would not achieve anything from it. It makes perfect sense they want to build up their military as much as possible, given what USA has done.
Actually an Iraq-like anarchy would be much better than the current DPRK, provided the US managed to destroy its nukes and their production facilities. Right now DPRK leadership is not only a big problem for its own people but also for South Korea, Japan etc and the problem is only getting worse each year.
Also the US doesn't just attack each and every country when it pleases. Almost all of the world's countries have no nukes yet they have not experienced a US invasion after WW2. A North Korean transition into a full market economy is a real possibility once it gets rid of its horrible leadership.
