Because everyone wasted their cash on the first rounds.

That's most likely also a reason why nobody got Mifran.

Seems to me that the clear winner of the auction phase is QB.

I easy write this one round before the auction, because Treasure Hunters had the most Nohhams left (almost twice as much than the other clubs!) and they have already 3 (!) top tier players (yes, I think rakleader is a top tier too :P and he is a very good team player too who can manage a team!). And in the round 6 auction will be another two top tier players (MoD and Timon) so I am sure that (at least) one of them will be bought by QB, which means 4 (!) top tier players in one team :O

Besides this, they have smart choices from the lower tier players too, it seems he bought very cheap but reliable players from the Masters learning clan (Apprentice) who can easy cooperative (disciplined) play in the team games leading by MotD and rakleader for example.

I think it is a very deliberate and clever tactic by the Treasure Hunters!

Not to mention that they bought the main admin of the series (MotD) and they also own the press too (Tito) :D

Btw, I read the auction rules, but I am not sure I understood everything, for example how the hell can QB bought rakleader in that price while there were a bid with twice as high a price?
I am sure, I am not the only one who didn't understand well the auction system (I meant some managers too :P )

Maybe I just can't understand the other managers' concepts (ok I see Plat's trolling :P), but I think QB's concept was the far best.
The only chance for other teams, that the league filled by very very much good players, so their choosed players can fight againts the big names of the Treaure Hunters well.

But again, imo the auction phase was very domitaned by the Treasure Hunters, congrats them for the clever tactic!

That is a shame, would be much cooler if you just let them play understaffed + some point punishment for messing up. Alternatively, let them take a loan/sponsor somehow. (like, give them some requirements to meet) Right now they just got 25 Noh for free.

Basically the 1 manager who didn't overbid is now at a disadvantage.

Doesn't make much difference, QB for instance still has way more cash than the rest, which is why he dot buns so cheap, only difference is the ones who messed up early now get full rosters, but the talent level they can select is much lower.

Point is not that QB now has way more cash. Point is that QB didn’t perhaps make as high bid earlier as he would have if he had 25 noh extra then. Wheras the other managers acted as they had 25 extra

EDIT: not saying that the 25 was an unpractical sulution. Just that if i where the manager who did it right, I would be pissed thta the other 5 got out so cheply. In fact they quite argubly benefited from it relatively to a hypotetical me

We have a sample auction sheet which explains how the process works with an example. Every manager gets to control the number of players they want to buy in each round(this can be any number from 1-8). It is another aid given to managers to ensure that they don't blow all their money on one single round, but at the same time, can bid multiple on players in case they miss their primary targets.

In the example, Lightning Revenant doesn't want Sultan Kosmitow if he manages to buy 3 players (this is because he may want to bid for another big player available in some other round.. Or he reckons that he wont have enough money if he gets too many players). So he sets the priority on Sultan as 4 and max players as 3. This essentially means that Lightning is only in contention for Sultan if he misses one of his 3 primary targets. After lightning is ruled out of the race , Sultan just goes to the next highest bidder.

Lucky for QB, he and his team might stand a chance however unlikely against the feldmere chargers now :)

First place is already taken by battle island buccaneers. The feldmere chargers and treasure hunters can still fight for 2nd place however.
