Fizzer, his ignorance and his lack of willingness to listen to people's suggestions is the problem.

The Unity version on the computer is unplayable for me... glad there's an option to revert back to Flash for now.

-Can't see multiple game tabs.
-Takes a long time to load/shift between games.
-Lag when clicking makes placing orders take 3x as long.
-God forbid you accidentally refresh the multiplayer game page. (f5)
-Miss the auto-games, I see no reason to delete them even with quickmatch.

Please try standalone/desktop version for the best performance, you won't believe how much faster it is.

Whoever is in charge of redesigning warlight makes all the effort to make me abandon the game.

I lived through the introduction of the cluttered multiplayer dashboard, but at least they didn't make it mandatory. Since then I only look for games via warlight.net/MultiPlayer?OpenGames=1. But this update leaves no workarounds - now all the useful info is provided in bold yellow text on green background.

Guys, seriously, the website is fine, it's okay, it is not in need of radical improvement. I don't know what motivates you to make changes to the interface, but it becomes less and less usable.

This app update is awful. It was easier to see what games you have on the old one. This version looks unplayable. As someone who has played Warlight for years, this interface is not only slow but hard to see your games. Please change it back, as i don't think i will be able to keep up with my games I'm in tonight because of this change. It has put me off that you probably won't see me on this game anymore.

Android version on phone is unusable. PC version is garish, clumsy and far too slow. And what is with that stupid spin nonsense? Cashing in on embedded adverts? I pay membership not to see adverts.

@Gregorious: are you using PC standalone or WebGL? I was going to switch back to Flash permanently after using WebGL, but standalone is pretty usable.

Fizzer I would like to congratulate you for the awesome work and effort you put on Warzone.

-Colors are great, a bit confusing at the beggining but you get used to them at the time
-Acces to different places of the site much easier
-Unity lags in my pc, so no opinion on this yet
-Generally great decission keep up the good work

I don't understand what all of you have all versions except the WebGL version are incredibly fast and the mobile version has a tone of new features that weren't included in the old version so all in all I hold the new versions better then the old versions exapecialy cause there is a standalone now and there are new features.

To say something about the forum, the mobile version is much worse in the scalling (overlaying stuff and to small scaled i liked more the too big scaled version but I hope the scalling is getting fixed) but the drop-down Menüs have some improved navigation for people like we who always cross their data Tarif so all in all the update to warzone is good.

psykkoman: this is just not true. I've played thousands of single player games and this is the first time I've ever seen the stand no gaurd thing where a territory can have zero armies. Something has changed. Now, to get the stand guard to happen, I have to manually change the template every time I play. This is not necessarily a complaint, but because something changed, I am wondering if it is intentional and whether there is a bug somewhere.

Blob, no stand guard has been around for like six months now, I think it's the default setting even on flash.

Seriously all the bitching and moaning is extremely annoying. Please remember that this is a FREE game and Fizzer has been forced to change it to Unity due to Flash dying out. Soon Flash will become obsolete, chrome doesn't even support flash anymore. He hasn't changed it to Unity just for the hell of it. He's worked non stop for almost a year trying to get it all done quickly for people.

Yes there are lots of elements we aren't a fan of, but don't forget, it's still in its infancy, Fizzer is working on it constantly, taking on board all the feedback and constructive criticism we give him. He can only do so much, so give him some time to improve things instead of "This is horrible! I'll quit if it isn't changed back" which is useless to anyone. He isn't able to change it back to flash, flash will soon be obsolete everywhere. Just look at the responses from Fizzer so far, "I'll work on that" "I agree, that can be improved" etc. Doesn't that just show you that he IS taking the things you say on board and doing something about it. Give the guy a bloody break!

Instead try working WITH Fizzer instead of against him by instead of threatening to leave the game if things aren't changed, try suggesting things that don't work/can be improved/things you don't like and try suggesting what specific things you do want instead.

For those people bitching about leaving the game, for goodness sake (facepalm) you CAN change back to flash for a while until the new improvements are implemented. To change the game back to flash, click on your username at the top with the drop down menu and you will see "switch to flash".

Also we should really count ourselves lucky. There's not many games where the game developer directly interacts with the community, directly answers questions etc on the forums, streams, mails etc etc. Seriously I have never played a game before with so much effort to interact and consideration for the community from the developer before. I think we should all appreciate this in itself.

To be fair, I think most people who have "threatened" to step back from the game are talking about the new design - not the unity client. More people are complaining about Unity, but when it comes to people "threatening" to stop playing, the design aspect seems to be more relevant.

The colour schemes certainly CAN be changed back - or changed, and so do some UI elements.
I am personally mostly fine with design, but I can understand why many people are complaining.

After all, Fizzer had been working on this update for a long time - throughout this time some testers have mentioned this very point and got ignored completely - that's at least the impression that I got.

I do not stand behind most of the hate that is expressioned here, but neither can I support calling all the criticisers "whiners" and "5 year olds". That's ironically not constructive at all too.

For me, the real thing bothering is this name change. We have seen many people in favor of the unity client by now - I have not seen a single player preferring WARZONE over WarLight.
I am very disappointed by the way Fizzer has handled this affair.

For the record, I called people out for their actions of whining and bitching and suggested they go about their feedback in a more constructive manner, I haven't referred to anyone as "whiners" :P

when i first saw the new dashboard with all those colors, failed positioning and typesetting, my glasses legit broke XD i lost $250 for new ones, sad day... if i haven't already retired, i wouldn't even mind long ass loading times, but really the graphics... my eyes are already bad enough

btw seems like chat doesnt even show up anywhere? is it even implemented or do i have to rollback to flash to read new messages

The chat button should be at the bottom of your screen, it's a little tab that opens out the chat when you click it.
