How does it change?
I know there are 7 fixed template and all the rest is ordered by voting. And you can unlock up to 30 templates.
But to simplify let's assume there are only 10 template to be played in QMs
And i've unlocked 9 of them (7 fixed and two highest ranked A and B). I'm about to unlock new, 3rd highest ranked template C.
But in the meanwhile votes changed - A, B and C has dropped and now D, E and F are respectively 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

what happens?
A) i unlock 3rd ranked template (F)? in such case D, E are lost to me and i won't be able to play A and B with many player anyway( cause no more players can unlock any of them)
B) i unlock highest unlocked template (D) - in such case i have to play another games to unlock new templates and i'm forced to play earlier templates (even if i don't lose ability to play A and B, as above, reduced number of potential opponets)

Also allowing to still playing A and B means that you can unlock and play any number of templates

or maybe my available templates just change - so my (and all others) available templates are D, E and i'm about to unlock F - that would be a bit confusing

So, i would be grateful for clarification

From my experience you keep the templates you unlocked once. If the votes changed, i guess only the ranks of the moment you unlock the next template matter

I've noticed it too, but i guess you haven't reached limit of 30 unlocked templates yet. And that's the problem.
Cause either you can unlock any number of templates(so no real limit), either you lose your templates (confusing) or you get desynchronized with other players.

First, QM has 40 templates (eventually might be 10 fixed and 30 determined by votes. But right now it's 7 fixed and 33 determined by votes)

Mod is correct: Ranks only matter for when you unlock it. Once you unlock a template, it will stay unlocked as long as it's a template in the top 40. It would only re-lock if it fell out of the top 40, which isn't possible right now since there aren't even 41 templates suggested yet.

ok, that's understandable, but i still now what's the answer - i unlock D or F ?
From what you have answered to Bane in different thread i would guess that it is F, but not sure about it.

I looked and what happened to me is that I had unlocked strategic Greece awhile ago when it had a higher rank. It’s rank lowered, and today I unlocked the rank it now occupies. So I didn’t unlock anything. If that template is replaced with one I haven’t unlocked, do I unlock it automatically?
