Hopefully the link works this time. The map issue is the obvious problem. If have reported the bug in game but don't see a means to do so.

For the issue of not being able to start the game, I created the game in the so using a template saved from the Flash version. I assumed they'd still work but apparently not

searching forum is currently quite hard cause it's using "site:warzone.com" and most of the content is not (yet?) indexed by google.
No idea how it really works, when (or if) it will be indexed but maybe temporary change the engine to search on both domains could help

I think I am really done with that game now, android app is still not playable even with the newest release. Just tried a RT quickgame and the graphics won't work, I mean no minor things, the amount of armies is completely wrong I can't see the neighborhood, territories I still got are still like neutrals with 2armies on it just the number is my color. If I click on the territory it is correct but it is annoying to click on all territories to see how many armies there or if there is perhaps an opponent. In this stage the app is like a kick in my ass. Far away from even a beta version. I have android 7.0 on my mobile and a Samsung A5 so no strange uncommon phone. All other apps works fine. Bye guys hope that app at least works on your phone well. Last word to that worship fizzer guys, this app is commercial 500000 downloads and you have to buy membership or get advertisements. I have no problem with that life cost a penny but I want in return a good working app. Or do you think Google doesn't earn money because it's free.... Rofl.

Regarding Army Loss Graph:

Fizzer, you don't need to spend time coding these. I always had a hard time finding out how many armies the attacker loses when looking at the Army Loss Graph. How about add the number of armies lost next to "kills X" ? For example

Little mouse's problem with the Android app sound identical to my own.



This is the second turn. I've already taken all of SA as well as moved into Africa from Europe. Not that Central America and an African territory show the neutral 2 armies through the fog. I also deployed 4 on North Africa, though it still shows the 2 neutrals from the previous turn.

I was able to make this turn from memory, then closed the app out and restarted it. This appeared to resolve the issue.

"It doesn't record every turn you take, instead it records the time from when it became your turn until when it's no longer your turn.

This makes sense if you think about a multi-day game. Imagine a slow player (say they take 3 days per turn). They'd be the last player to move, they'd get a 3 day speed sample, but then they'd take their next turn right away which would give them a very short sample (minutes). If they habitually did this, their average speed would be 1.5 days when in
reality they're always taking 3 days. Therefore, instead it measures the time from when it became your turn until when it's no longer your turn to be more accurate.

Ideally RT games wouldn't use this logic, but this logic was implemented before RT existed so RT just inherited it automatically.

This still seems wrong.

10 minutes even if it depended on when it "stopped being my turn" isn't possible. All my games are RT QM. 3 min turns + 5 minute bank. Longest turn possible is 8 minutes.

My MD speed also shows 1 turn, I've started 1 MD game, it's at picks, I've picked, my opponent hasn't. It's therefore still my turn and nothing should be recorded.

I met a bug when the map started jumping up and down. It happened when I opened the chat tab. Jump up and down, two times in a second, once the top of the map touched the top of the map window, once the bottom of the map touched the bottom of the map window (the top of the chat tab). It stop if I close the chat tab and stop if I zoom and the map fill the whole map window.

It happened when it was empty space outside the map and looked like cant decide where to position the map.

I am still having issues clicking on chat tabs in the android client. It opens team chat by default and the pub one opens, but private i can click many times and it never opens. And yes, the game allows pms

That being said, very happy with the changes so far

Is it intentional that the loading bar is going from right to left?

Wow, somehow I missed this. I'll add this to my list. I never even thought to verify it since it's just the built-in Unity one.

I should probably fix that at some point but it's a low priority at the moment.

Thanks for the pic. Are you able to reproduce this? Do you see it right upon loading the game, or does it only show up after switching into history, or after watching the latest turn play out? I will send you a private mail.

Google can take up to a month to update its indexing. Use Knyte's workaround for now.

Hmm strange, I just tried it and it's working for me in that browser. Can you try clearing your cache and refreshing? Can you send me a screenshot on what exactly you're hovering over?

Sounds like you're running into the same problem as Richard. I'm working on this.

Sure it is. If you're the last to commit in a game, it could continually be your turn for several turns in a row. Even a 1 minute auto boot game could result in a 10-minute sample if you were the slower player 10 turns in a row.

If someone invites you to a game, it also records a sample to measure how long it took you to accept/decline.

when someone goes ai it doesn't change in the side bar, only when you click on his name you see player went ai. This is a bit problematic in games where surrenders don't have to be accepted or when players booted and come back to the game

Scaled my UI size to a readable number. Problem, the UI does not scale. Only the fonts. See the image, the menus and task bars should scale with the font, otherwise your just cluttering your component to make it legible.

I gather from your posts that your trying to make one codebase that works on every platform. That a great idea, it make updates easier and keeps code from diverging. But I think your trying to accomplish something impossible without user pain on both ends. This is not a game or website with static content. The nature of your platform yields many shapes and sizes of boards. Playing tiny earth or bubble wrap board, zooming in and out is just part of the game.

Information needs to be legible and easily accessible at any time. Currently on PC its not easily accessible. Its either hard on the eyes or smashed string wrap.

Maybe you need to re-address property value? Draw up boxes on the board and assign percentage of use in game play? Then scale accordingly.

Can you clarify your cross platform strategy? Are you using the same UI for the App, web and native clients? Does this also include people that browse your website on a mobile platform?

What screen resulution and phisical screen size do you have? I had somthing that looked similar during the alpha testing, as i have a 4k laptop. For me the UI scale is now correctely detected and set to 2.5 for the standalone. On the browser the scale is 1 for me, since then it is windowns or the browser that scales it by 2.5

What I am saying that the game should detect the UI scale of the system, but maybe that is not happening in your case. If you have a 4k, try 2.5 ui scale

Aside from the long waiting time needed to open the new play tab on the unity client.....

Considering the fact that I am a pretty casual mp player, I was interested in using the mods to see how they work.

Problem is, I can't use them!

Simply cause you can't in single player (i would have loved to make some scenarios with mods), and in mp only members can join my games. So after 20-30 min of waiting all my attempts resulted in 0 games started.


honestly, this is quite disheartening.


Mods aside, the new sp page needs some layout restyling! half the page is empty and it looks like a cartoon!
