I noticed that one of the "lectures" you mentioned was an analysis of the 50-player game. I might be persuaded to write such an analysis (or at least write a post-mortem of the game) from the winner's perspective. It might also be an appropriate occassion to share some of the methods that I've used to maintain an insane win rate in FFA's generally. But I am not sure if a "paper" is what you had in mind, or if there is any real interest in the subject of FFA's.

The participants could be interviewed and the topics could still be covered that way

A lecture

This can be anything that you can imagine! ;)
For example you can show to us how you type in orders with a chocolate bar on your mobile. I would name that lecture "Typing the MoD way - substitue your finger by a chocolate bar".

No, but seriously a lecture can be a talk, a discussion, a workshop etc about a topic related to warlight.
The big difference to the gaming part is that it takes some time to prepare for them.
I dont think it will be too hard to prepare the game formats in comparison to the lectures.

I have seen so many awkward game templates aiming to deceive a possible opponent especially in coin games. It might be very interesting to have a speech on that topic.
