I have created a mod, that gives you 3 other ways to get gold in a commerce game then just income.
1 Way: Killing armies
2 Way: Capturing territories
3 Way: Capturing a bonus
The gold is calculated runtime, that means if you capture a territory and then an other player captures the same territory in the same turn from you, then both of you would get the gold. The same principle applies to bonuses.
Now I need a member to test this mod in a multiplayer game.
