Just reading the clans thread and the points scores, it occured to me that what we really need is a set of rules to see who is winning each thread. Suggest the following

*most points wins
*1 point per post
*except -1 point for each post immediately adjacent to another post by the same person
* -100 first player to mention hitler (or optionally stalin/chairman mao/mccarthy)
*10 points for being the first player to say they are bored with the thread
*-1 point for every post after someone is bored
*5 points: pedantry
*-5 points: incorrect pedantry
*10 points for annoying Richard Sharp
*1 point: pointless first bonus: being the first person to post on each new thread page
*10 points: bitching about someone who isn't even involved in the slightest. 20 bonus points if they subsequently join the thread to defend themselves.
*-10 points: trying to get someone blacklisted when you are clearly just dumb or gullible and probably deserved whatever they did to you.

think there should be more points for bitchiness, but can't quite figure it out.

I am thoroughly amused by the digression stemming from those clan recruitment threads... and Perrin you cannot simply add your own point rewards in favor of yourself! I think that makes your post a post made just for making points -15 for you :/

but I also have pedantry for +5, first bored +10, post X3 for +3, posts after bored for -2, post complaining about someone who hasn't been mentioned +10.. so I am still at +11, even with that -15..

now if my other additional rule is added, as well as the -15 rule.. well in that case I should have +2 X 11 = +22...
