Pretty strange; but I suppose science has blessed us with another development.

This one seems ripe for abuse, though.

The AI can use facial analysis to determine with 81% accuracy (pretty high) if a man is gay, and 74% accuracy if a woman is a lesbian.

If the software has five images to analyze, it can determine with 91% accuracy if a man is gay and 83% accuracy if a woman is a lesbian.

The research had pictures of 35,000 people tested.

Overall, I find the idea that people might very well not be able to hide their sexual orientation, even if they never tell anyone else.

Imagine if ten years from now there's an app on your phone that can immediately tell you if someone is gay just by photoing them.

However, the Outline reports the study was met with “immediate backlash” from the AI community, academics, and LGBTQ advocates alike

now they have to bring their gay muck here and stop sciences for an ok experiment? Ugh, it's 100% ethical to see differences, and to judge on them, when will the NTs learn? feel like tabby now
