Given the cool weather my home town here in the NYC area has been enjoying recently I was curious to know what the local weather is like where you live. This new years day, 2018, the temperature was 3°F (-16°C) at 6:50 am. By way of contrast Reykjavik, Iceland, is warmer with a temperature of 27°F (-3°C).
I would be interested to hear any comments on the subject.
Remember units for temperature (and for everything else measurable) to prevent confusion (between Celsius and Fahrenheit in this case). Don't let people assume the units, assumptions aren't always correct, even if there is a 50/50 chance.
You think you're being funny right now with your little joke ? You think you're funny or something ?! Everything freezes at 0 degrees you fop, water starts to freeze 273.15.
Let me rephrase since it caused such a stir. Yesterday at 13 degrees Fahrenheit in my house, the pipes carrying hot water into my house froze, along with possibly the hot water as well, since water freezes at 32 degrees Fahrenheit.
