No problem, Fizzer, shit happens!
If it happens again, and if its not to much work, like people said earlier here, if its possible it would be nice to add 1 day vacation to everyone before starting the server again, if its possible ofc. :)

This is the first time WL/WZ down for so many hours(at-least for me) and now it is fine.
Yes, make precautionary measures to avoid such problems and also few compensating ways to stop boots during such unforeseen events.

Some of my games seem to be not booting at the expected time, which is fine because of the shutdown. The only one that it didn´t happen was a game of 1v1 ladder. I don´t know if there´s a way to avoid it, but I second the comment that it would be good if the boots were avoided, at least for one day

I missed WZ during the down time. On the other hand I got more work done today than I have in a long time. hmm.
Thanks for a fantastic game.

In such cases activate vacations for all players for 3 days. This. I was booted from 5 games because i couldn't take my turns earlier. My vacation was scheduled to end about 3 hours ago and the game server was down for basically the last ~5 hours of my vacation. The ladder games i don't really care about but losing 2 tournament games where i was in the ro16/64 and ro32/128 hurts. Luckily i cut down my games a bit before going on vacation.

No, I´m changing what I posted earlier. I was booted of three or four games, including some that were worth credits. The game change scenarios, put unity client (that never worked for me, anyway), new graphics, new gameplay, but can´t just take out the time lost in the shutdown, and not having it count normally, as if the 10 or so hours were of normal play? I´m very disappointed, for what seems a bad management. Not of the shutdown itself, but of its prejudicial effects on the players.

including some that were worth credits I only see one? I refunded your 2 coins. If there are others, or if anyone else got booted from coin games, please send me a private mail with a link to the game.

@Fizzer Thanks for the speedy response. May I just suggest that the website was unreachable for me when the servers crashed. Considering your users would be for the most part wondering if there's something wrong with their internet/computer (Like I did!) I would suggest using emailing bot to inform everyone what the situation. Just to make everyone aware of the issue. Just to ease the confusion.
Secondly, I find it a tiny bit ridiculous you can't give a response on what 6 people are wondering about (Stalling the boot time clock/Vacations for all). There are two main general problems with the game crashing. 1. Inconvenience (Just the game not working at Real-time games) 2. Boots (For players on multi-day games) The second problem outweights the first. So I'm a little disappointed you can't give a response to those people giving a fair suggestion that can solve their problems. I'm not saying you should agree with it.. But don't ignore it and put up a picture of a cute animal saying "I'm sorry" Isn't exactly helping players pissed off. I wasn't personally effected thankfully by the down-time. Considering you've gotten help probably from 1 or 2 from the players in regards to the design aspect of WarZone. Surely you can explain your reasoning why you can't.. Leaving agitated players in the dark! :)
Overall, Wishing the best for the game in 2018. We're all happy with your work in regards of the development of the game. You've had a busy Christmas :P
@Knyte you've offended me with your high-ground politically styled bullshit.
"Lol here I'm just appreciating how Warzone is an indie game run by one guy (mostly)"
You look like an idiot, You can't take the whole "I appreciate WarZone/Indie guy" speech when you've not been effected by the issue at all. You are in 2 MD games. You're just being a political jackass. Players got booted, They are complaining about being booted from games. Not telling Fizzer Warzone is a disgrace.
"and still has better/more accountable/transparent user support/customer service than games run by a dozen people."
I see Krunx , Neglifar , Krzystof , Min34, Motoki and Clusterall pointing/supporting a reason/suggestion for vacations/stop the boot clock. This is fairly reasonable from logically pointed guys and you can see where they are coming from. But Instead of Fizzer not even giving a response to these suggestions, He rather puts up a image of a dog saying "sorry" and obey a silly troll idea then a Idea that could save people pain (At least give feedback instead of the ignorance). When players from Min34 play the Seasonal ladder, Which I'm sure like any top player, has put a lot of time into his games so when he gets fucked over, I would at least like the game creator to minimally respond instead of ignoring me with a stupid dog picture. Give a response don't leave frustrated people in the black.
"Sucks what happened, but a loss in a game is a loss... in a game. If you get invested in it too much, it gets as emotionally draining/risky as work. Why not just recognize it doesn't really matter that much, take the L's without thinking too much, and enjoy the little rush you get from wins? Only upside. It ain't like Warzone's putting bread on your table, unless you're Fizzer."
It's wonderful to see you on the peak of your political high horse. It really is. But please don't tell others what they should think or belittle the gaming experience for them by saying such crap " enjoy the little rush you get from wins". What a arrogant asshole comment. Lets look at the facts. This is a strategic game, Fizzer makes tournaments. Players join tournaments. Player wants to win. Player to go far and win tournament must outplay and out strategize his/her opponent. This requires time and energy. For some players boots have come at weeks and even months of effort take Clusters for example. The ethics of people investing in this game is irrelevant. Players like Cluster + Min or anybody in any tournament/game that they perceived as important can at least voice their frustrations without having little political morons like you telling them likewise.
Fucking idiot.
@DanWL with the "@min34 don't delay games for so long :) "
Nobody literally could give a fuck on what you say and absolutely nobody could give a further fuck about your time-table on your profile. Go be a one-line smartass somewhere else from 08:00 - 16:00.
