I like to pick team B in realtime games.
I looked back at my last 20 games. It s a small size but it rapresent reality .

In the last 20 games i played 3 were lost cause i played with noob, 2 were my fault, 3 were won cause the opponents played worse than my team, 6 were normal games (3-3), decided by luck or little mistakes and 6 ......

So i lost 12 out of 20.

So, im asking :

YOU, who use to pick random team in realtime games, how can you go over 60% win ??

well to get over 60% you really cant be a team B player. You should find good players to play with (invite them to games) is how you get a better record, and also how you improve. Once this occurs you can find yourself in games (games with high pre-reqs) that test your skill and then your record becomes of little importance.

So basically, your record is of very little importance unless you want to play against better players. To be honest I am impressed that you won 8 out 20 in such games lol.

The auto games don't normally have preset Team A like player created games often do. So it's a team of random people verses a team of random people and you. Since you are better than average, you drag your team's percentage up.

w/ teammates: cooperation, coordination, diplomacy
by yourself: master the art of war, understand the enemy
game dependent: understand how the settings affect geostrategy
genes dependent: have intelligent parents

Same here, I play randomly and top 62% (chossing randomly A or B), but I must admit, approximately 20% of my lost games arise from booted teammate, 10% wins from booted or leaving opponent.

i play 2vs2 vs Kruel+Korr very often, so my 2v2 record wont go up ( even random good players whom i paired with are unused with their setting, so its very difficult to beat em.... but its very challenging).

Gotcha Duke... that's an excellent point. I haven't played such games specifically because I am wary of the teams having worked together and just prefer not having to worry about settings or wonky maps.

I try to avoid joining games where the host already joined. So i can have a closer look on settings and teammates and still have the possibility to decline.

Why do you like to pick team B? usually games are hosted by better-than-average players, and the host is usually in team A. but really, like everyone else said, just look for good players and avoid bad ones.

I almost always join team B. Games start much sooner that way. And I love to screw with A-teams :)

@Gui intelligent parents wont suffice, you need intelligent grandparents actually.
