I Don't know how we started, but REGL is way bigger. Just check out the FFA tourneys

it was dazed and red, and then i was invited. we were all very active and there were others who played with us regularly, some of whom became wms, some now inactive. those two invited players who they thought were good enough, or offered trial games to prospective members. dazed took a 3 month break because of his sex change, things stalled a little bit at that point.

Actually you didn't, we've been around for half a year longer, not that it matters. We've also gotten bigger than we wanted, we got a little free for awhile with our recruiting.

nvm, looked it up :P You changed your name (4/27/2011) and I changed mine (6/30/2011) so yeah, you were first. I just never saw one of you before I changed mine.

Not to sound ignorant or anything, but how did everyone just skip over the sex change comment?

I can't tell if it was meant as a joke or D&I actually went through a sex change.

:P

I like a clan to be 10-20 people. I want to know everyone, like them, and be able to trust them in-game. I also want everyone to be able to team up with each other, but once a clan gets over 20 it's hard for everyone to know everybody and you develop clicks inside your guild. Which can be good for in-house competition, it just depends on the focus of the guild.

Yeah, our main focus is to just have fun, so the more the merrier in my opinion. There are more active and less active players, and I think having divisions within the clan is a good thing. In fact, we've been discussing breaking the clan up into smaller "teams".

I find that highly offensive Dazed, and X has a better @$$ IMO

I find when clans grow too fast, they tend to have decreasing quality of players..

not that I am implying anything about Regl.. the market in warlight is quite untapped due to the few clans currently about.. but It's just like in any MMO a guild that ninja invites as many people as they can.. if you Recruit too aggressively then you might end up with a clan that isn't as fun overall, and with a variety of people you will end up -not- liking to play with.. thus removing the effectiveness *imho* of the clan in the first place..

I almost made a clan a few years ago.. it was planning on having 2 members..

me and crafty35a always grouped up, and always took team P.. we were gonna be clan Team P, but neither of us was thrilled enough about the idea to actually change our names
