Sorry for the delay everybody, a storm knocked out our internet connection right before I went on vacation. That being said it's almost the end of the line for the Qualifiers, so it's best I get an update out.
Very Important Weirdos has been very busy, bringing their record to 21-3. They currently sit at 75 points, which is just one point off of HAWKS' max, which would clinch them a promotion to C. They are at the top of points in 1v1s (39), 2v2s (16), and 3v3s (20), just showing they have no weaknesses. Only 6 games remain, and VIW is set to roll into C with some momentum.
MVP for VIW is clearly Andre Laufmoller who has account for 27 points so far for VIW. ilpeggiore has also performed well putting together a 23 point performance.
CORP has had an up and down season so far, but they have put themselves in a position to not only clinch a spot in C, but fight for first. A big part of this was their performance on 1v1s, being tied with VIW's 39. They maintain a high max points window, but with several key games vs VIW and HAWKS yet to be played, their position is far from decided.
CORP's MVP race is currently hard to decide, but I'm leaning towards Nemo due to his strong performance on Guiroma accounting for 15 points. The Shots has accounted for 19 points and Garlikid's 16 points helps make a case for them, but their weak performance on Szeurope makes it hard to make that call, Dutch Desire is also on his way to possibly being MVP. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
HAWKS has faltered a bit taking a huge hit in max points while CORP has passed them with a very sizeable lead. For them to promote they will likely have to win out and get some help. Not the easiest spot to be in, but the race isn't over yet. They've had solid performances across the board, sitting at 47 points (76 max) and a 12-9 record. There's still 8 games for them to play, so I wouldn't give up hope yet.
The MVP race here remains as TurboTT117 continues his solid performance with 26 accounted points, AlexB his teammate has also produced a very solid 22 point performance as well.
The Avengers have fought their way back into a division D slot, their performance has been rather overwhelming overall with their points contested being at 39.2% They still do have a solid max points of 60 and can challenge HAWKS for third with a strong performance. A couple of mistakes in subbing players around will cost them some points though.
The Seven Kingdoms has fallen apart as far as their clan league team is concerned. it's likely USSR will surpass them, but Dr. Killa's continued performance on Elitist Africa could just put them out of reach.
USSR has been surging towards the end going from 0 points at the start of May to 21 points at the end of it. zaky and Prophet have shown solid potential in 1v1s, and there is a slight hope they may overtake The Avengers. This is exactly what needed to happen
for USSR going into stage 2 though, grabbing up as much momentum as possible.
Acme is dead quite literally, having been swallowed up by 101st, they are pretty much guaranteed last place, and the only development since the last update is a win over HAWKS on 3v3 EU.
