Platinum.. Outlaws's mission should be to get #1 with a solid roster like yours.. "mission to avoid relegation" is aiming too low; you guys have a real chance of getting #1 imho.

EDIT - Of course we cannot see how things are going in game, but every single one of the Outlaw teams (i mean the teams in the team-games) have, on paper, a real potential to sweep their division.

Mikaela seemed to have the game by turn 4 only to throw it away with some questionable decisions. Beren wins his first game this season to put some points on the board. 1v1 Guiroma

He always seems to raise his game when it comes to Guiroma on Clan League. This hands Masters their first loss of CL10.
Emu Pub (M'Hunters) defeats INSIDE (VS) https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=15526309 Emu Pub opens his account by beating INSIDE in a close game with a neat turn 1 counter. INSIDE still had the edge and should have taken his bonus on turn 2 instead of trying to defend a triple border. (1) Masters (Total Points 1st // Max Points T-1st // % Points T-1st) A good week for Masters where they go 3-1 with some close victories. They are off to a cracking start as they put early points on the board.
(2) |GG| (Total Points 2nd // Max Points 5th // % Points 3rd) An average week for GG as they finish 1-1. They are off to a steady start as they keep putting points on the board. They've distanced themselves from the relegation spots. Maybe Platinum was right all along and GG will contend for the podium spots!
(3) M'Hunters (Total Points 3rd // Max Points 7th // % Points 6th) A good week for MH as they pick up two crucial wins against fellow relegation contenders VS. They do lose two games though which drops their max point ceiling. If they can keep picking up points, they might be able to defy popular opinion and survive this division! They're definitely in a hurry and have the most games finished so far in Group A.
(4) Outlaws (Total Points 4th // Max Points 2nd // % Points 2nd) The slow-pokes of this division. Outlaws pick up their first loss of the season in a close game. They'll have to convert these games to wins if they want to challenge Masters for the top spot. They finish the week with a 0-1 record.
(5) ONE! (Total Points 5th // Max Points 4th // % Points 5th) ONE recover from their dodgy start to finish this week with a solid 2-1 record. They'll need to keep up the pace if they are to repeat their heroics from last season.
(6) Lynx (Total Points 6th // Max Points 3rd // % Points 4th) A steady week for Lynx as they go 1-1. This still have a high max points ceiling, but will need to put points on the board to keep in touch with all the eager clans who are finishing games at a rapid pace.
(7) VS (Total Points 7th // Max Points 6th // % Points 7th) Another rough week for VS as they lose two games to direct rivals MH. They are still seeking their first points of the season. Another concern will be the poor form of INSIDE who is one of their key players.

However I just relized, we are thats we are not alone on 4 finished games... its three teams on 4 games.. this season people is even slower than the CL clot was at start! :D

I think the horse race confusion is that a horse race lasts two minutes (yes I know there are stupidly long ones as well) whereas clan league takes 2 days 23 hours and 59 minutes for every turn and would better likened to a tectonic plate . We measure horse speeds in meters per second. Clan league's "speed" would be in centimeters per decade.
