As mentioned earlier, we will be using the Dowdall system to resolve votes. Anyone who has completed all 20 games in any one of the last six seasonals(Season XXVI onwards) is eligible to vote. I greatly value the novelty of seasonal ladder templates, or at least the two that I have played, and am sad that all five options are ones I've played on QM/AWP. Hopefully, next season novelty will be made a hard criterion and established templates will be automatically disqualified. Anyway:

I agree with kicorse that Seasonal shouldn't be reusing ladder templates. Pretty much if you're not on MDL, you're starting at a huge disadvantage.

My biggest problem is not that MDL templates are used. Typically good templates liked by the community go there. The chances of getting good templates are greatly reduced if we do not allow MDL templates.
My problem is fast earth continues the trend of over half of all seasonals to be ME or MME, which I strongly dislike and kills variety imo.
