1. Quickmatch uses a modified trueskill rating system. It has a minimum rating (0), and you will gain/lose a maximum of 10 points. All ratings are calculated separately. I dont think there is a way to combine your rt rating and md-rating to get your global rating without calculating everyone's rating again.

3. Less templates does not cap your rating. There is no cap in ratings. It might lower your rating because you play more often players with a higher global rating because the match rating is highly influenced by your rating for a specific template.

For question #2 in a stream done by ps and a few others, people asked fizzer if there will ever be a trophy for it and show on profile and stuff and fizzer said it will once qm stabilize. That was like 3 months back. In my honest opinion I do not think the rating has stabilized since the top rated players can still go higher and higher so maybe after a few more months or so it will stabilize and we will get a trophy for it and be shown in our profiles.

You don't always get +/- 10 points. Depends how many games you've played on templates. For the first 30-50 games, it's +/- 10 then the win/loss points are always less than 10.

2) no but you can check people's QM rating and rank in the QM leaderboards for players with a rating of 200+.

3) I've done an experiment with this before. Tried to play only 1 template for a month or two in real-time only. I found that all matches up to first rating up to 350 where quite inaccurate. From then onwards, the matches were very close and winning a game increases you rank slightly and losing a game reduces you rating significantly. Now when I try to play games on certain QM templates, I'm very likely to loose due to the early match inaccuracies. When I started, my average win streak was 7, highest being 10.

Tldr; in the short term yes, mid term no, long term doesn't matter.

There are 11 templates to chose its Leaderboards.

you can only see leaderbords of templates that you have played yourself. So if you dont see the scrabble leaderbord most likely you have either not unlocked it yet or not played any games on it
