At the moment I’m trying to get into the habit of exercising regularly.

And I’m wondering, how many people here exercise?

This is random but I’m just wondering.

On and off. If you're able to find the time, spending an hour 3-5x a week at the gym doing cardio and lifting ends up feeling pretty good. Used to be one slow motherfucker so I ran a lot all of last year and now I can run a few kilometers in a time that's reasonable for a human and not a crippled sloth with snails for legs.

Yeah. Used to just lift a little, but I started doing more cardio. It's strange, because I used to be a strict runner, doing no other exercise, then I stopped for a couple of years. Got back into it a few months ago and it's been good.

As for the original post, I occasionally go for a short run around a few blocks or something. Can run a 3-4min average per km for like 10km. Nothing special, but atleast above average.

Our marathons are in km, so we use that measurement a lot when talking about traveling on foot.

Also, I've not exercised in a long time. I want to change that.

Also @DDB our marathons are in miles- that's why you see those 13.1/26.2 stickers on people's cars. But we have 5K's/10K's as the shorter-distance events in most places (people like holding them for charity).

Maybe you can integrate exercise in your normal routine. For example when school is in the neighbor town you could go by bike.

If i say "all atheists are actually devils in disguise who eat their own children and suck off baby dicks" i think that invalidates anything i say against atheism because im pretty sure you dont eat your own children

Just start biking everywhere

Biking is really easy though

Jogging for 30 mins a couple times a week is the best way to keep your fitness up.
