My theme is mainly roleplay and diplomacy, with encouraged talk of historical events. Anybody know of any obscure (or those that have not been used yet) history names (empire names)? Byzantines are overused, Romans are overused, not sure what has not been used and worthy of making a clan of it. Help? I'm thinking a Venetian based clan would be appropriate. It doesn't have to be a large empire, anything that might fit my description of my clan.

tl;dr, gimme clan names for a rp diplo history clan that describe it or are based on an old country/empire that has not been used/describe my clan well.

I'm horrible at describing stuff, geez.

I haven't seen any Ancient Persia themed clan. Achaemenid empire at its peak covered more land than Roman one ever did, and for longer period of time.

Could also go the mystery route and call yourself the Sea Peoples.

I was leaning heavily towards a Persian dynasty or a classical Greek theme.
Would anyone join if I themed it after factions like TLA, but greek? Titles would include Hegemon, Polemarch, etc...

I recommend Polish-Lithuanian Union themed clan. ;)

Call it "Ancient Empire", that way you can play as any ancient empire.
