Don't you guys find that it's a perverse kind of game? It's always about who fight who, about alliances, try to stop the strongest, but it's only external, every player wait for his own opportunity to have the necessary advance and hold the game. Unfortunatly they often finish with someone that argues with another one accusing each other to let the 3 grow too much, they fight each other, the 3rd guy wins.

in my opinion the easiest to win when any game becomes thre only diplomacy rules it

3 player FFA is by far the easiest if you are better at diplomacy than your opponents, but it's probably my least favorite among equally skilled diplomats.

I've got a good record in it, and won a 3 player FFA tournament, but that says more about how bad most people are at diplomacy. I've been in plenty of situations in larger FFA games where there were only three people remaining, and they were almost always grueling matches of repeated backstabs.

Solution: disable private messaging!

They use public chat too. For example " blu, care about yellow! he has america, i won't take our bonus in africa"

i simply say , "read my bio if you want to increase your chances to win this game" :)

In manual selection games I often find picking bad locations bonus wise often works though you guys are spot on about diplomacy. Sometimes against 2 weak players it's good to just go for it though and see how the cookie crumbles.
