Are you new to the internet as a whole?

it's an internet forum, ofcourse some people are a bit of work, borderline ego centered douches. if you can't handle "public exposure" you shouldn't be posting. also, knowing that, you should always take things with a grain of salt, especially when you know the other folks are usually dickheads.

and now for something completely different, my perceived conditions for a thread to be labelled as YAAT (yet another Aranka thread):
a) people complaining something is wrong with warlight forum users (usually Aranka)
b) people still talking on the warlight forum despite point a) (usually Aranka)
c) random troll talking crap to get attention from female player (usually x claiming the female is not female, although dead piggy often used to contribute aswell)
d) random senior warlight forum poster fueling the discord (usually myhand posting random stuff, my favorite being starwars erotica, although he has been failing a bit in that department lately)
e) dead piggy just wanting to talk about the ladder
f) people calling it out for beeing YAAT (usually me)
g) parallel threads pointing at that thread (YAAT, like most forum memes, is a virus)

Well, thats a lot of criteria. Unfortunately this post fills a couple of those. However, I still stand to the point that it isn't cool for some of the stuff on the forums to be happening :/ I had a look at a couple of the Aranka threads.. Zap Rowsdower (is that X) posted a couple funny ones (Before and After Aranka). However, I don't wanna hop on any bandwagons. I just don't like some of the attitudes :/

Maybe one day I'll adjust to how things are run here. Until then I'll just keep reading.

onslaught of hate - rather onslaught of criticism over your leader's name, clan's symbology etc. If you would create a clan "Satan's Army", used a red pentacle as clan's icon, took a cat being eaten alive as clanpage image but said you are only roleplaying and have nothing to do with satanism, wouldn't you expect people to react alike?

I'm disgusted by some of the people on the forum - those people may be disguisted by a bunch of ignorant imbeciles purposedly or not, glorifying something outrageous.

The superiority complexes - sometimes refered to as "being aware of own skills"

the capacity to be judgemental - sometimes referred to as "ability to think and draw conclusions"

the sexism - sometimes referred to as "accepting gender differences"

sheer disrespect I see... - didn't you mean the consequent criticism short of neither sarcasm nor self confidence of the posters?

It really makes me sad - yeah. it's sad to argue with people who are right while you are wrong yet still insisting for them to take your side

..There seems to be this idea that if you have come out at the top on the 1v1 ladder, or are a long-term poster in the forums then that immediately grants gives you the God-given right better than other people. - seems you have a strong inferiority complex. But you may be right to a degree.. people who take ladder #1 are very good at strategic 1v1 template. It's safe to assume people who are exceptionally good at strategic templates most likely have above average cognitive abilities and intelligence.. THAT makes them able to win arguments against ignorant imbeciles. Frequent forum posters on the other hand are sometimes only trolls and attention seekers - now THAT's something to be ignored. If you can't distinguish intelligence from brawls.. then i pity you.

There has been a lot of discrimination against new posters - you mean new wave of forum trolls flooding forums with unlimited stupidity? I think nobody has anything against reasonable new posters..

This is coming from a forum newcomer as well. Its not exactly like my opinion will have much influence, as my clan and everyone in it are condemned as Nazis - no. you are not condemned as Nazis, only you are condemned as a bunch of imbeciles on purpose or by mistake glorifying Nazi germany.

I don't remember when it was alright to be an all-out arse to someone for just even commenting. - it's not for commenting. It's for being a part of a group mentioned above.

It appears to me that when behind a computer screen, it suddenly becomes okay to reject morals - yeah it's so much easier to roleplay dritte... oh sorry - Der Vierte Reich when being anonymous over internet than to get hospitalized after suddenly meeting somebody whose feelings your entertainment hurts.

I appreciate revoking the last bit.. However, T4R was mine and my brothers clan, I actually paid for it (2 and a half hours work! £4/hour :( )

It's true. Führer just means leader, as in Touristenführer for example. Should any of you ever come visit Germany, please make sure to always refer to your local tourist guide as "mein Führer".

sarcasm aside - yes it means "leader" but as far as i know (i'm not an expert on german history though) no previous leader of the country/empire was/wanted to be titled "fuehrer". There were a lot of other expressions in use, not this one though.
