You can only blockade territories your control at the end of your turn.

Why can't you give an order to blockade a territory you don't have possession of at the start of your turn but you hope to control at the end if your your turn?

Is this able to be changed with a mod?

I remember being frustrated by that at first, but of course I got used to it. I'd be interested in trying out such a mod, but you probably have to code it or find a volunteer to do it for you. Should be easy to code for someone who has made mods before (I have not).

It would make blockade cards significantly more powerful, and we'd start to see quite a few Turn 1 blockades. It would also be easier to spoil a bonus while being eliminated from it.

I think it's fine as a mod, or even an alternative setting option, but not as a complete replacement for how blockade currently works.

i mean it could be just an extra blockade card in the settings. We have already 2 wich also didnt "overrite" themself. imo the more cards the more customization options. Tho i also would still like that you can edit 2 different kinds of reinforcement cards (or wich cards you like) and make one of them give you have 5 reinforcements for 6 card pieces and the other one 2 reinforcements for 4 pieces.
Again more customization.. so more game ideas and possibly more options for scenarios, diplos and strategic template / games
