There are many people who use alt-accounts. They use these accounts for various reasons, such as:

1: Being able to join more than one clan at once.
2: Being able to multi-account in games.
3: Being able to level-reset.
4: Being able to rig games (Especially FFAs).

I use alt accounts for mostly reasons number 1 and 3.

Some strong clan leaders are against alt accounts joining their clan, but my suggestion to these leaders is to treat each case differently, because an alt could very well be one of your most valuable players. Why? Because if you allow alts to join, providing they're active, it can easily be the same reward as a main joining your clan. Alts are also a bit more likely to join in on the social side of a clan, such as their forums (which are underused, and difficult to access via mobile), and discord or skype chats.

So I am curious what people think of alts, why they might have a general bias against the use of alts, and what their train of thought is regarding alts in general. Do you see a value in alts or do you find them to be disloyal to a clan, even if their activity is spread evenly on both of their accounts. If you believe that alts do not enrich a clan, then enlighten me and show me your perspective. Thanks. :)

Alts can be harmful or helpful.

Start from lower level and enjoy the fun of leveling up, achievements and sometimes fool opponents who think Level=Skill.
Many times, RT games won't fill if a team is made of multiple higher level players and fills faster if there are low level accounts.
